Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 1 hour 30 minutes
Total Time: 1 hour 45 minutes
Serves: 4

Ingredients:

2 racks of pork ribs (about 3-4 lbs)
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
2 cups of your favorite BBQ sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C).
Clean the ribs and remove the membrane from the back of each rack.
Rub the ribs with salt, pepper, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté for 2 minutes.
Pour in the BBQ sauce and stir well. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, meat side up.
Brush a generous amount of BBQ sauce over the ribs.
Cover the ribs with another piece of foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour 15 minutes.
Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top foil. Increase the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C).
Brush the ribs again with more BBQ sauce and bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes or until the ribs are tender and caramelized.
Remove from the oven, let it rest for a few minutes, slice, and serve with the remaining BBQ sauce on the side.
