Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Ingredients:

4 boneless chicken breasts
1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup garlic, minced
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1/2 cup cold water


Directions:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Place chicken breasts in a baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, combine teriyaki sauce, lemon juice, garlic, sugar, ginger, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly.
In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch and cold water until smooth. Incorporate this into the teriyaki mixture.
Pour the mixture over the chicken breasts in the baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, turning the chicken every 15 minutes to coat with the sauce.
